Hello everyone,

Following the recommendation I'm starting a log here. I'll appreciate literally any and all advice and comments, and if this does anyone else any good (even if I mess myself up and you learn what NOT to do) then that's super.

The older part of my log can be found on "the other" place: Jin Stewart Kills PFS I'll try and keep both updated simultaneously now.

Bit of a sanity check, no massive updates in three days ofc!

Workouts:
Monday - International Chest Day
Tuesday - Shoulders
Wednesday - Legs
Thursday - Back
Friday - Arms
2 days/week HIIT (sprints or rowing like a nutcase for 10 minutes of sets.)
Lifts are just a mixup of as many compounds as I can get in, so very sub-optimal for muscle building, but FORGET that for now, I'll maintain what I have and deal with getting mass back post-PFS. Broadly speaking 5 exercises/bodypart, 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps. Again, depends on exercise. I also find R-Andro for example lowers estrogen, so I tended to do higher rep sets for that and try to avoid joint injury.

Supps:
Daily herb (this is now alternate days Tongkat Ali/Boron (12mg) between Apr1989's Tribulus cycles, for the SHBG lowering effect, whatever good that does given my understanding of things.)
Jarrow Bile Acid Factors 1x cap
Betaine HCL - 650mg
Vitamin C - 1g
Colostrum (will drop once it runs out.) - 1g
Shilajit - 500mg
Wobenzym - 2 tabs
Schisandra powder - 1tsp
Probiotic following Geneva results
ALA - 300mg
TUDCA - 250mg

With meals:
Betaine HCL (1-5 caps,) Viridian digestive aid (1-5 caps,) Bile acid factors (1 cap.)

PM:
Daily herb*
Magnesium Malate - 70mg
Bacopa - 1g
Collagen - 3g
Malic acid - 1g
Vitamin B complex (200% RDA)
Probiotic following Geneva results

I'll also randomly neck Vitamin C through the day. Get through about 3-4g /day I think.

Diet (sample day):
Morning - smoothie (1x mug of broccolli, 1x handful of kale, 1x handful of spinach, 1x raw egg, 1x tsp each of chlorella, gelatinized black MACA, dash of Nam Pla (thai fermented fish sauce,) couple slices fresh ginger to taste.)

Breakfast - Chicken cooked in yeast extract 'gravy' sauce and bell peppers and onion, white rice, broccoli, apple.

Mid morning - 3 scoops dessicated egg white powder with water.

Lunch - Chicken and rice as above, another apple.

Dinner - (oh boy) beef steak, 5 eggs scrambled with spinach (both cooked in butter,) smoked salmon with lemon, broccoli, microwaved potato, whey protein shake.

Additionally drink Pau D'Arco tea throughout the day and drink 500ml plus of beet juice.

Gym got a little easier, the 'sour headache' is still fluctuating but better than it was a while back. I can work a day now just about, sleep is definitely on the up, just wish I could nod back off again when I inevitably wake about 5am. I do get 6-7 hours on a weeknight, get 10+ hours on a Friday/Saturday.

I've put on 1kg in the last few weeks. This'll do me nicely for the next fast.

Penis (yes you all knew there would be penis updates) is much the same. Sometimes weak nocturnals, very very very rare weak mornings, but did manage to have non-viagra/anything sex with it twice last weekend. Tiny bit premature I'd say, both times, but she was happy, so I'm happy. Maybe erections got a bit better and fuller since the last R-Andro cycle too. But only a little bit. I try and edge for 15 minutes twice daily with a full erection, which I do have to keep stimulating to keep up. Use it or lose it.

Also get tiny little flickers of libido and very weak partial erections from sexual thoughts.

Emotionally a bit flat but improved. Suicide ideation is getting less frequent and insistent now.

I'm better than I was back in October, no doubt about that. I hope so badly that I continue. And I know a LOT of PFS sufferers would KILL to be where I am, so I'm taking that as a blessing.

Early March bloods:
Test - 17.1 nmol/L (8.64 - 29 R)
SHBG - 62 nmol/L (18.3 - 54.1 R)
Free test (calc) - 0.229 nmol/L (0.2 - 0.62 R)
Progesterone - 0.706 nmol/L (Range: < 0.474)
DHT - *imminent*

Okay, it seems day by day mental sides are getting better. Sexually, maybe a little bit. I'm not sure, but yet at the same time kinda seeing improvement but of course mega-thirsty to be back to normal.

Chi once wrote about waking up one day feeling something "fired up" but I don't quite feel like that. He also used an analogy of an old Renault 5 car spluttering and trying to start and run, and I think I'm feeling more like that.

For ref, a Renault 5:


Chi also did mention he woke up laying on his bed feeling rested and refreshed, and this morning I felt that. I got 7 hours' sleep. I should be starting the second low-dose tribulus cycle tomorrow too...

However I am VERY VERY tempted to try and bring Potassium back, and take exactly* what Scenes did. To mean, try my luck at potassium (100mg) copper (2.5mg) Aspirin (300mg) and magnesium (150mg) alongside everything else, and try and knock this out in a couple weeks.

Very very very very tempted...

NAC did not stick to people FYI. meaning they felt better while on it. but when quit back to square one.

but you are taking tons of different stuff like pyroluira treatment, like NAC

Keep at it for a while and then see if it sticks.

Thank you! Okay, I'll stick with the above and continue the tribulus cycles, then April time I'll drop the NAC and see. Fingers crossed it just works for me...

I’ll be honest man. It’s hard to argue with results. I wouldn’t change a thing if you’re getting improvements. There’s always next time but I’d keep doing exactly the same.

Does also sound very sane. Yes, I'll keep it up and hope the NAC and the rest kickstart enough of whatever to do some good. I might not update every hour but certainly after every cycle or if anything good/horrible happens.

Well I can't seem to resist updating. Seems like it helps me, plus it's reassuring to know I'm logging things and cleverer people than myself can read it and go "WAIT NO DON'T EAT THAT SUPPLEMENT/CARROT YOUR BALLS WILL EXPLODE!"

Tapering off the second low-dose tribulus cycle now, but honestly I think the NAC has lost its magic, I'm not feeling brilliant at all, and sleep is crappy and sexual function and desire really is zero. If I've not been cured or start improving by the summer then sod it, I'll go on TEI. In fact, anyone want to try a TEI race? Full supp amounts, first one cured wins a mug from the other?

Then I'll just keep up the tribulus cycles. Will go a little higher next time too. Hold me... :/

Helen and Boris will probably have us cured by summer anyway. With carrots.

Not much else to update, annoyingly delayed DHT results but I'll guess I'm low DHT. But we'll see. Tentatively trying dairy too (kefir and goat's cheese) and I'm not sure it's helping or hindering me. If libido and EQ are still toilet after the weekend I'll drop dairy again; that has definitely slid in the last week. Pest because I totally had sex a fortnight ago.

So, just for some running updates:

But I feel better having a bit of a complain, and better knowing you folks are out there working on it. Love you all so much. Keep going guys!

I might be down for that. I guess I need to start a thread over here to get some actual recommendations from the smart people over here first. But I’m assuming TEI is going to be recommended since that seems to be so common here.

Yesss! Aight then I'll do all sorts of goofy trials until, say, June. Then shave head and off supps for a couple of weeks - then we both send hair/get on TEI until our boners come back?

Well, I don't know 100% myself, but I've had it suggested here to stop supps, shave then wait 2 weeks. I myself would stop, wait a week, shave then wait until that grew out enough to send. The TEI folks I emailed said just shave and send now, but I think the first scenario makes more sense.

dont take sulpho, it is not good just alone, and iti s dangerous for some body chemistries.

If you've got a mo for an opinion or two, should I taper off the tribulus cycles, would you say (like the people who feel better on tribulus do/Apr1989) or should I build up the dose over a week/two weeks and just stop it dead, aiming for a snapback? I definitely do feel worse on it.

...And if you were in my shoes, what would you be doing right now?

(I'll bet it's "stop experimenting and do TEI"!)

You’re doing a lot. You might be really toxic right now from die off. Maybe have a “Gerson day or 2” I call it. Maybe a couple coffee enemas, juicing, fast, sauna. Stop all supps for a day other than methylation.

Today I woke up toxic as all hell like in a freakin trash can I felt. Methylation supps got me going a lil, then rife machine detox setting really got me going, and then coffee enema REALLY has me going. Haha

. You’re taking this so seriously and I love watching guys like you go hard like this. You’re not going to fail if you keep it up, but just be mindful and watch you’re body closely. But enjoy life as you do it. Good luck man, and pm me if you got questions.

Gosh that was quick, thanks! Had a little look - I must say Zinc doesn't seem to do me any good. Maybe even a little worse? I've cycled it on-and-off (sometimes weekdays or weekends a few times) and tried this one: https://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-zinc-copper-15-mg-1-mg-100-capsules-3 and also this one: Bio-Selenium+Zinc - antioxidants - immune system - metabolism but not had any in a little while.

I also took a couple of these once at the start, and by god it KILLED me. Got INSANE ED and libido in the toilet, took weeks to recover: Jarrow Formulas : Methyl B-12 & Methyl Folate Lemon

I guess that ties in with you mentioning B2. So, I'm taking from this to try:

- Get some B2 (which is Riboflavin.)
- Get back on Zinc (one of the two above look ok maybe?) and take it with Manganese.
- Stop the dairy again and try to drop Vitamin A levels. No more broccoli.
- NADPH oxidase inhbitors - Flavonoids? Could I use Quercetin at standard dosages? I have some in the cupboard...
- Keep everything else going.

Tell you what I have been CRAVING marmite (yeast extract) like a madman. Eat a couple of teaspoons of it every day now.

Thank you my friend. I really do need to keep the faith more, and I *DEFINITELY* need things spelling out to me on here. I don't know how you guys got so knowledgeable honestly... Glad you're all on my side! And yes, I do try to take it seriously and not panic too much. But I really f-ing hate PFS I must say.

(Psst, which ones are the Methylation supps? Thanks!)

I might just stop all supps next weekend and see. Have a colonic and coffee enema lined up next Saturday too (lucky me) so that'll tie in nicely with some water up my ass. I might well PM, thank you for the offer, but I'd generally rather post things publicly - my progress or my horrific mistakes might help people out in future.

...And if I am then TEI for me, and this thread can be all "Arrgh TEI supps broke sleep/penis/things!"

Re: methylation. Don’t think you’re taking anything for it.

As for being worried about tei healing reactions.... I’m working with practitioner who is making it a lot gentler on my system. Methylation basicslly is set of b vitamins, some active, in morning I take them. Opens up detox pathways. To make me feel better.

Taking minerals afternoon/ night. Which can have some healing reactions but I’m definitely learning when to push and not. I’ll skip doses if needed, but I don’t really have to. I’m feeling good on these unless I eat bad. (And yes the extra Barbacoa at chipotle today really pushed my stomach to limit and effed me up.lol )

...You know what? Had a long think last night and this is just silly. The answer for people like me HAS to be TEI - if you don't understand what you're doing with minerals etc and the thinking behind it, it's what it's there for.

I mean, we KNOW from Helen, Scenes and Raincoast getting there and a few others getting almost there that mineral balancing is definitely a (if not the) route to getting better. Might even be as soon as six months if I'm lucky! Hell, if I'd started right after my crash (and been said amount of lucky) I'd be almost there right now.

Helen, brushi11, thanks so so much for the patient advice but I'm done playing around. I just want this gone. I'll stop all supps, wait for a week, shave head, grow hair two weeks, shave again and send.

I'm going to do TEI all the way, but do have a couple of questions:

- Can I still work out on TEI? I do like gym. Usually do 5 days/week.
- Can I do myself any harm exactly by taking whatever in whatever amounts they give me and just powering through any rough weeks? Will I get there faster by toughing it out?
- If I get wacky sides from it whilst detoxing and/or chelating, can I complain about it here and you'll all tell em what a brave little soldier I am?

Nothing more encouraging than Helen still attacking PFS. So in the mean time I shall stick with this indeed.

I worked out fine.. but less, But I did workout like 6-7x a week last year when I could post fasting.

Eventually that had to come to an end +/- injury. Still did 4-6 on tei, it was harder tho, and I def went down to half for reps (I was doing 480-600 top down full body 6-7 d a week --legs, dips, chinups, a couple shoulder, 1-2 chest moves, 2 back exercises, etc 4-5 sets while gaining and 3-4 when cutting).

If you're working out now, it should still be possible, maybe better, more likely worse I think. Also, I had far more muscle fatigue which I still feel months later, after a workout or towards the end. I didn't really have much before randro/4andro, and it was like 2-3x more at least, with TEI. Now just calisthenics, and my own sports rehab till I find out nature of back injury. For sure, avoiding twisting motions as much as I can, at least 4 more weeks.
